A Grand Entrance

August 17th, 2013

When Jennifer and I first started talking about the newborn shoot, we were thinking sometime in the middle of July… Ha! Babies always have their own plans, and in her case, this was especially true! Not only did she go to nearly 42 weeks, but then endured nearly 2 days of labor. As you can […]

As you can tell from the pictures below though, it was all worth it… Thanks so much for letting me spend the afternoon with you, Gould Family!

Ethan’s First Photoshoot!

July 30th, 2013

Nothing is better on a cloudy, rainy day than snuggling a brand new baby, so that’s what I did on Saturday morning! Introducing Ethan (you’ll remember his parents and their gorgeous dogs from a few weeks ago)! He was one of the best little models I’ve ever had – fell asleep as soon as I […]

He was one of the best little models I’ve ever had – fell asleep as soon as I got there and didn’t wake up the entire shoot!

Hope you enjoy these sneak peeks!

Welcome to the world, Xavier!

July 11th, 2013

I was so excited to get the email from Courtney that their little baby boy had been born a couple of weeks ago! He’s an absolute angel and we couldn’t have asked for a better photo shoot. Here are a few sneak peeks to share with the rest of the world:

Lily in the Spring

April 10th, 2013

Oh, how I love to see my newborn clients grow up!! I met Lily and her parents this weekend for her six-month shoot and I can’t get over what a beautiful and happy baby she is! It wouldn’t be Spring in Texas without some bluebonnet pictures, so we took our obligatory shots and I love […]

Baby Reid

February 27th, 2013

When it comes to photographing newborns, patience is really the biggest skill in my ‘toolbag’ – I never know if a session is going to take 2.5 or 4 hours, how many times the baby will wake up and want to eat, will the baby like the white noise and space heater or are they […]

When it comes to photographing newborns, patience is really the biggest skill in my ‘toolbag’ – I never know if a session is going to take 2.5 or 4 hours, how many times the baby will wake up and want to eat, will the baby like the white noise and space heater or are they going to wake up every time they lay on my bean bag?   Every session brings it’s own challenges, but this past weekend, my biggest problem was what I was going to do with all of my leftover time!  Reid was an amazing little model for us – he was asleep the second I got to their house and didn’t wake up the whole 2 hours (record time!) that I was there.  He did open his eyes once or twice to let me snap a few shots, but other than that, he slept “like a baby”.  His parents are in for a treat with this little guy (and with a Boilermaker Dad and a fellow Big Ten mom, it’s no wonder they have an awesome little baby)!

Meeting Rayan

February 19th, 2013

I’m sure you remember the gorgeous parents-to-be from this session right before Christmas, and now I get to introduce you to their tiny little son Rayan!  He made his entrance into the world a little early, so I actually got to take these pictures the day before his due date.  Check out this little guy’s […]

She’s One!

March 27th, 2012

I met little miss Ella when she was just a few days old and it’s hard to believe that now she’s 14 months old!  We were supposed to get together a couple of months ago for her 1-year session, but decided we would wait it out for a little more Spring color, and I’m SO […]

Happy Birthday, a few months late, Ella!

Welcome, Kellan Ryan!

October 19th, 2011

It’s a virtual baby boom over here at Tiffany Cross Photography! Next up, sweet little Kellan! He’s already a dream for his parents – sleeping like a champ and a perfect little angel during our photo shoot. The weather was perfect to do a few outside shots as well, and it’s amazing how the great […]

Welcome to the world, Kellan – and congratulations to Andrea and Ryan!

Elina Marie – Welcome to the World!

October 18th, 2011

I’ve known Neel for years, so I was so excited when I got the call from him a few weeks ago, asking to take maternity and newborn pictures. You’ll remember Melissa from my *very* recent post (we just barely fit that maternity shoot in!) and this past weekend, I got to meet little Elina for […]

Avery Blake Turns One!

October 3rd, 2011

I can’t believe that I’ve been photographing this little girl since before she was born!  I’ve seen her faithfully, every 3 months, and have watched her grow up right before my eyes.  I admit that I even got a little teary-eyed when saying goodbye to her sweet mama at the end of our session.  I […]

I can’t believe that I’ve been photographing this little girl since before she was born!  I’ve seen her faithfully, every 3 months, and have watched her grow up right before my eyes.  I admit that I even got a little teary-eyed when saying goodbye to her sweet mama at the end of our session.  I know I’ll get to see her again soon, but this is the end of our “Baby’s First Year” package, so we don’t technically have another date set on my calendar.  This was also my very first “smash cake”, and she was a little angel!  I was expecting a much bigger mess, but she managed to have fun and still stay (relatively) clean!

Great job, Avery, and Happy Birthday little girl!
