Our very good friends, James and Laura, are anxiously awaiting the birth of their son, Logan, so I was thrilled to take some maternity pictures with them when we were in Dallas a few weeks ago. The little man is certainly trying to make a ‘fashionably late’ entrance into the world, as he’s already a few days overdue. We can’t wait to get the phone call, but until then, hopefully these pictures will make them smile!

When I pulled into the parking lot on Sunday and asked Ella’s mom if she was sitting up yet, I was floored to hear that not only was she already sitting up, but she’s crawling too!!! I usually don’t have to worry about mobile babies until their 1-year sessions, but little Miss Ella was an absolute doll. She gave me big laughs and smiles were plentiful. We knocked the whole session (including her grandparents) out in record time, which was a blessing on a hot August day in Texas.
